291208-Movie + Shopping before year ends...

This month so good coz lot of holiday..haha...i likes it so much....today was a holiday too..me and my frens suppose to watch the movie BEDTIME STORIES starring Adam Sandler today at Midvalley.. We queued up for 30 minute and when we finally reach the ticketing counter, it was announced that the ticket has been sold out.. we decided change to other movie but unfortunately all the movie also sold out..the next available is at 6.30pm(it was around 2.30 that time)....We did not go for the next movie as we have another appointment with fren later evening..too bad...(T__t)




I have won 2 premiere tickets for the movie OUTLANDER. I won through GSC online contest...quite fun and cool becomes member of GSC (http://www.gsc.com.my) because as a member, i can get free movie tickets on birthday and able to participate in their online contest..I have won lot of free movie tickets and also movie premiere, VCD and lot of cool stuff from this site..Strongly recommend my frens to join this, haha




Today midvalley was so crowded coz now is Mega sales...we was so tired and decided to stop by a cafe in the Gardens and ate some nice marble cheese cake..so yummy + delicious




After our dinner, we decided to eat some nice ice cream from Gelato

261208-My first online transaction......with ebay- Dakota Star-Together alone

Today is a sunny day.....my laptop having some problem and my company technician just finished fixing it...i was taking nap at home when he call me up...have to back office just to take my laptop...duno why today weather so hot..year ends should be chilling ma...expect some rain and cold wind..haha

I have just done my first online transaction in my life...buying in ebay...i always wanted to purchase on9, but afraid of credit card fraud bz i'm not very confidence in buying on9 as this trend is not that popular in malaysia. I seldom heard people around me do on9 transaction although this is quite popular in other countries like Taiwan and Spore. I been struggling for some time..me myself dunno how to make the first move..



However, opportunity comes in when i wanted to buy this EP, TOGETHER ALONE from the group dakota star...http://www.dakotastar.net/en/disc/ The album was released back in 2006, I really have difficullty in finding the ablum in msia. I have search through a lot of CD stores in major mall in Klang Valley and KL, been to flea market, 2nd hand CD store and also petaling street but could not find it and some of my kind frens have been helping me to search but could not find it..really wanted to said a BIG TQ to them...frens from msia, HK & Spore..... Really appreaciate for their helpfullness..

I even send out a mass email to more than 1100 plus people in friendster and facebook..but nevertheless...stil an empty hope...finally, my net fren confirm vf me that Universal music did not import the CD to msia..he got a fren in the record company..i really giving up hope liao until i saw it being on sale in ebay....being a person never buy on9 b4, i seek help from lot of people to guide me in creating an account vf ebay to register for paypall...Finally, today, i took my courage to buy the EP from ebay..mmmm...the seller from Australia, might takes around 2 weeks to deliver to Msia..hope can get it ASAP...haha

261208-Xmas just ended...nites in Niu Zher Xui @ Ara Damansara

Just back from Niu Zher Xui @ Ara Damansara...the place was so crowded and happening..really so different when i went there last month...cz now got the disney lantern event...so much people there and the shoplots have extended the operating hours too...so beautiful...yup,,Xmas just ended...few more days...and that's the end of the year of 2008...hopefully, 2009 will be a better year ahead...i have took some nice pictures....

211208-It's x to recap the year of 2008 & plan on new year resolution

Seems like long time din blogging liao....recently super busy with works...i have taken up part time jobs for the last 2 weeks as promoter..earn some extra incomes for CNY next years...this festival seems comes like very fast...high household expenses on next month so must save a lot on this month....

The year of 2008...a great year indeed...firstly, company sent me to Spore to work; really good exposure and experience...and i met lot of good frens n colleagues there...last 2 months being promoted to a higher role, rise in income but rise in pressure in work too...

...and my social circle is expanding in 2008...from less than 200 frens lists in Jan 08 rise to more than 1100++ frens as per today in friendster....social network is great as i have meet lot of good buddy from online network like friendster and facebook....i do meet up with some n still keep in touch vf them...

Back to my pei lou..ie. part time jbs....my resume is expanding...let me recap..mmm...this years i have 4 jobs...glade air refreshner, addidas fragrance, baby diary milk product, whisper range...that's all for the year of 2008...i told myself i wanna stop do part time liao...wana appreaciate the remaining days of 2008...to avoid regrettion later, haha...and also due to stress + pressure frm current jobs cz i'm exhausted from my current jobs..being in finance line..year ends is the worst...lot of task to complete..i have postpone my leave for too many times already due to heavy workload...now ends up have extra 2.5 days to clear by this year ends(im already carry fwd 5 days to next year)

Hopefully, next year, the year of 2009 will be a better year for me...looking forward for a great year ahead....(^_^)

301108-1 month to end 2008....

still got 1 month only to ends the year of 2008, the year of rat...mmm..start to think back what i have achieved and done in this year...many sweet memories and also the darker part...there are many things i wanted to do before the year ends..thinking of my plans now...

191108-Countdown to my bdy, hapi or sad?

Still got 2 more days to my bdy.....duno whether should i be happy or how...birthday is just a day, nothing special, juz a day to celebrate that we are aging...getting old?...like tat, btr not celeb...that's the negative thinking of birthday...On good perspective, mmmm...should thanks to God and mum for bringing me into life...still healthy and alive here..hehe...1 of the luckiest person on earth to be alive....

141108-Raining Season

It's been a long rain today....so cold in the office...at home..i likes raining in the night...can have a good sleep. This weekend will be busy for me...saturday need to work...actually not do my work, but just to help out other dept sort things out...maybe have to stay almost whole day in office...sun is my leisure day...need to shop for my company's annual dinner dress...this year theme is sort of Fashion 70s-Retro Disco...some of my colleagues will be wearing their parents old fashioned clothes...but mum clothes are too old to wear liao...got to buy 1....further...after dinner, my colleagues will countdown my birthday...

my sister is sleeping now.....me too...want to sleep soon....

101108-tired & exhausted from the trips....

Last nite back late from the trips..extremely tired and exhausted..and fell sick ored...now resting at home...however, overall, it is a fun, enjoyable and educational trips...hopefully can join the next trips...

081108-DEPARTURE DAY
At 6.30AM, we gathered at office...breakfast was meehoon...ate at the bus..my colleagues and i was tired yet was happy for the start of the journey...along the way, we stopped at resting area...saws lot of unique fruits and wonder what is that...






it took ard 4 hours driving to reach Kuala Gula, Perak...it seems like a hidden town..was so deep inside.....A typical fishing village......everthing was fine there....except there are too much of bull shit..it was everywhere as the bull was let loose...u can sight it in school, housing area, shoplot, all the place....





The 1st destination is charcoal factory; a local tourist guide brief us and shows us the charcoal..now i knw how to differentiate a good quality vs bad.....how it make and its benefit...never thought charcoal have so much of benefits...

the biggest export is to Japan..cz of its steel industry and japanese like bbq....lot of funny real life stories were shared...Nxt we went to Hua Seng temple..a big and popular tourist spot, there even showcase the statues of 18 level of hell...so scary...being a buddhist, the 1st thg when i stepped into a temple is to pray...everyone were focusing on the briefing while me was busy wtih praying..haha




We then have our lunch before proceeds to boat ride along river estuaries and birdwatching...it is an hour ride..i tried my hands at the wheel and also catched some cockerel..first time do fishing...seems difficult at beginning..but with observation and practice...no problem...hehe...




feel peace and relax along the ride...the wind of the sea make me calm...feel happy..seeing so much of beautiful species of birds....really glad being there..no pressure....really like the environment & the natural habitat...



The seafood dinner is great...being in fishing village..lot of fresh seafood were served..so yummy and full..nxt, heads to briefing and slideshow before walking at the forest for 2km for fireflies watching and wildlife spotting...so scary walked into the jungle...did not bring my torchlight...the land was wet...




The fireflies there was lesser than Kuala Selangor...an endangered species...i dared myself to put a puppa on my hands as the tour guide as me to try..at 1st i was reluctant...feel scary n geli..but after deep thinking..decided to try it as if let go this chances, duno when i will have it again...in msia, only Kuala Selangor and Kuala Gula can watched fireflies...feel so hot after comes out frm jungle...thus a group of us went to a nearby stall to eat ice kacang...





091108-BACK TO KL
i don't have a good slept last nite, less than 2 hours, so tired..after get up and took my breakfast..hv to proceeds to mangrove trail walk...it is a sunny days....really tired...the mangrove forest was next to the sea...a nice morning view of the sea...really like being in a natural environment and learn about flora and fauna at mangrove ecosystem.




the place so peaceful and the food price was so cheap...a plate of nasi goreng, bihun..only costs RM2...cant get this in city area....We next heads to Water birds' interpretation center before proceeds to belacan factory....bought some belacan for my family, relatives and frens..freshly make belacan....saw the belacan processing and packaging process..now i knw how to make...the ingredient are juz water, salt and dried shrimp....




I have asked the tour guide if can stop us at ipoh 2 buy some local snack..the journey around 1.5 hours from the town..they drove us to a tourist spot....ie an expensive place....some snack even more costly than those sell in KL....juz buy some since already there...long time did not go Ipoh..my dad hometown..



I'm really proud and glad to be part of this company trips...i have learns a lot...to protect the environment, the animals, birds, lot of knowledge that money cant buy and you can't find in a book....i chat a lot vf the local guide, a middle age man...and i definitely learn a lot of him...


Never thought there are more than 10,000 species of birds and he can differntiate if the crab is single, dating,going to get married, or married...birds that are loyal and disloyal to loves and lot more..indeed an interesting place to visit....STRICTLY for people who can go under the hot sun and loves the environment....

071108-Preparing for trips......

Quite exited now...have not finished packing yet...2mr early morning 6.30am must assemble at office...stil thinking what should i bring...seems like long time did not go into the jungle liao...being a city gal, born & bred here....do not have much opportunities to go this kind of place when u grown up because u really have to find people who shares the similar interest...actually...im an outdoor type person...

Today i went for the trips briefing at company sports club...i was late for 20-25 minutes because need to handle some urgent task....mm..the organizer was an environmentalist...shares lot of past experience and ideas with us...we were given specially designed t-shirt and a cap..to be wear on tomorrow....seems fun...it is a fishing village....and my frens jokingly said wanted to buy some fish go back....er...don't think the fish can't survive 4-5 hours bus journey, if dry fish, like salted fish no problem...some frens and family member ask me to buy sambal since i will be visiting belacan factory...freshly make belacan woh...haha...some even...wanted me to buy charcoal since i will be going to the factory also..1st day trips should be ok..but i thk 2nd day will be tiring since need to walk around 2km in the jungle....ok...sleep early and have a fresh start 2mr...

051108-A sudden expediation...

2dy when i log on to my pc....saw an intranet event...volunteer needed!!!....as msia environmetal NGO invites my company to we care we share visits to Kuala Gula, Perak(never heard on this place also)..it is a 2 days 1 night trips which falls on 8-9 Nov..since only limited to 20 participant(out of more than 1000++ staff), without delay, i immediately email to the organizer to check on the availability n send a mass email to my colleagues, surveying on who are interested to go....and i receives good response....BUT demand> supply...only left 2 seats and i'm going with 1 of them....

The purpose of the trips is for the staff to have deeper appreaciation of nature and values and functions of natural ecosystem, understanding of rural communities and indigenous peoples' way of life and etc....I always keen on this type of educational trips....really long time did not take part ...during secondary school, i went at least 1-2 times in a year but moving to college and uni, can't really find times and most important is most of my frens prefer to spend a day in cinema, karaoke, shopping and do girlie stuff than get dirty and hot in the jungle....thus, i really thirlled when i able to take part cz i really wanted this long long time; to get rid of the hustle of city and leaves behind all sort of problem...finding peace and create awareness on the nature and learn more on flora and fauna but the most important is to appreaciate more on what God created...ie. the environment...eagerly waiting for that...juz less than 2 days to prepares for the trips....

031008-Unlucky monday blues

Today, as normal working people, i was suffering from monday blues also...whole day like blur blur and demotiaved to work, kept looking at the time..countdown to end my job.....during my lunch hour, the string of my shoes was stripped off( ie. No string attached-from justin timberlake song, haha)...i have trouble walking back to my office and everyone was looking at me, so embarrassing...once reach my workbay, immediately call for help, send mass email asking if my colleagues got extra pair of shoes...don't want barefoot at the office, further i still got long day to go......

This morn when i carrying my backpack to work, my sis said i look so cute, like a school kid wearing a bag to school. Within a few minutes, my dad said the same thing also....maybe they long time did not see me carrying this kind of bag....what to do...this bag is my laptop bag ma...i told them i always look cute 1....er...perasaan...haha.....

This week seems to be busy. Almost everyday also have meeting. tomorrow also got meeting but it seems a scary one as many people will be attending and i will be the main person who need to answer question...sort of.....although new in the job, but must be prepare to go meeting, if not, will get shoot back...got extend the invitation to my predesessor, haha...to help out if people ask too complicated question. The most serious mistakes are not being made as a result of wrong answer. The trully dangerous thing is asking the wrong questions. Have to take note on this.......

Today, i left office early...wait for my fren for an hour before we heads to central market for dinner...our favourite Old Town Kopitiam...it's was raining.....and my friends and i were sharing an umbrella, luckily, my laptop bag was waterproof, if not, i will get scolded....a bit tired and sleepy liao....want to sleep now....ZZzzz....

021108- External family ties...brotherhood...

Today the weather was good, it's raining...haha...the past week was so hot.....but today it's great....i likes raining at nite time, so i can have a warm and comfortable sleep..it's been 2 weeks i did not go to fitness centre liao..so today i went...have sauna and steam...very relaxing...when my colleagues and i first joined the gym, we were very active, go together at least twice weekly, sooner it becomes lesser and we now like difted apart for the gym....all also lazy and demotivated to go....i was alone at the sauna, nothing to do there, then started to sing...from korean song of TVXQ to Jay Chou old songs cz bored ma... & no 1 there also (^_^)....the temperature of the sauna room was too hot to handle, then...on off basis comes out to breathe and switch to steam room....WAIT....my mum was in my room, peeking at my laptop n wander what i was writing + start nagging me...'DO NOT BEFREN WITH PPL FROM NET'....mostly cheats on gals and can't find true frens online....i reluctantly nodded and drag her to other topic..mmm..what dish to cook on tomorrow ah?....haha

As i grown up, i missed my study life...so much relax and freedom...no need care on work and no need pressure on work.....juz only have dateline for assignment, presentation and test....missed my old mates....during my 2 yrs studies at ktar, im lucky to have 2 kai gor(pat brother) and 1 c heng(almost the same meaning...mmm senior)...2 of them are 1 yrs older than me.....the other 1 are same age...quite missed them also cz we really have great time together.....they really sayang n care on me.....cz i always a guai guai meimei...they are my good brother, i treat them like my family member....BUT now i'm difted apart frm them liao, c heng aka senior now in sarawak, elder kai gor have his own family liao and the other....haiz...bz broke up with my best pal ard 5 yrs ago....too hurt to accept cz first love, thus avoid me till nw.....cz seeing me remind him of her...so don't want to contact with me liao although i always leave him message in friendster and send him hp mes....all this years, i never gives up on him, sometimes got sms him although no reply...will not gives up easily...i believe sooner or later it should be ok...gambatte!!!

Finally, i hv my create my own blogspot account....last time used to write on diary, then friendster blog...and now a new place for me to express myself.....blogging is cool, environmental friendly too as i no longer have to use pen and paper to write and it cost saving too..



The rain finally stop....quite full now as im just took my breakfast cum lunch...sunday is a lazy day...don't fell like go out as wanted to get myself fully prepapres for the next working day. I have bring back some documentation to study and revise as i'm quite new in this jobs, wanted to learn as much as possible and get on track...
